Conscious sedation

Sedating drugs may be additionally  included in local anesthesia.  Liquid sedating drugs areusually given by injection. Sedation will make patients more confortable with a relaxed but light sleep.

In contrast to general anesthesia, the patient will breath by himself. He will not breath artificially. However, his vital organ functions will be monitored with the latest modern devices.

Depending on the time the operation lasted, the patient accompanied by somebody may leave the clinic an hour after the operation. He mustn´t do any activity which implies any physical and /or mental effort or operating machines.

Six hours prior to the sedation the patient is not allowed to eat or drink anything except for prescribed medication ( it may be taken with a sip of water).
